Harnessing the convening power of soccer…in building the health and knowledge assets of young people

THE SKILLZ HEALTH TOURNAMENT

To advance physical well-being and create a platform to deepen SRHR knowledge, HIV prevention messaging and healthy living, 36 purposefully selected secondary schools (6 per Educational District), who have benefitted from the SKILLZ Health program, are currently participating in a world-cup-tournament football competition. The tournament which further demonstrates the convening power of football in the dissemination of health messages will culminate in a grand finale on December 7, 2019 – in commemoration of the 2019 World AIDS Day in Lagos.
